How long will it take to complete my job? |
| |
Job lengths vary depending on what you are having done, however once we start your job, we remain on your job solely until completion. Unlike most other contractors, we do not run two and three jobs at the same time. |
 |
| 5 - |
Will my start date be exact? |
| |
All start dates are estimated dates, however we do not give a customer a start date that we do not expect to be able to adhere to. Please keep in mind that each day the weather is inclement our schedule will get delayed since masonry work can not be done in inclement weather. Unlike other contractors, we will never give you a start date that is impossible to meet just to get your job contracted and then push you off for weeks. We believe in being upfront and honest about our next available start dates, so customers are not disappointed. During the height of the season, lead times for start dates can vary between 2-10 weeks. We book on a first come, first serve basis.

Will I be able to choose the color and pattern of my paver patio, walkway or driveway? |
| |
Yes - we believe that it is important for the homeowner to pick out the material that they would like us to use and recommend that they go to their local mason supply yard to look at the material, patterns and colors first hand. Once a homeowner has picked out their desired material, if we have a completed job using that material we will be more than happy to arrange for the customer to see a completed job using that material.

Are there any guarantees on the work? |
| |
Yes we guarantee all jobs based on the workmanship. Paver jobs carry a full five year guarantee on the outside borders and a full one year guarantee on all inside pavers. Poured concrete however does not carry any guarantees against cracking, peeling or discoloration, however we pre-crack the concrete with plenty of expansion joints to prevent cracking in the future. We also deal with reputable Concrete Ready Mix companies to insure the proper concrete mixes. Autumn (Construction) Masonry has been a member of Suffolk County Consumer Affairs since 1994 and we have a spotless record so please feel free to contact them to check our license #23,648-HI.

Autumn Masonry does hire out our crew to assist with paver borders, pool copings and concrete pours at a daily rate of $700, which includes a crew of three men and equipment needed to complete the project. Homeowners are responsible to cover all materials and supplies.
