Autumn Masonry was established in August of 1994 by Robert Williams.

Raised in a family of masons, Mr Williams started working at the young age of 14 with his family members as a laborer/apprentice. At the age of 20 he was foreman of a crew. Skilled by his father and two uncles, Mr Williams, learned how important it was to complete a job to perfection without cutting corners.

He noticed that after many years, even his family that once strived for perfection in workmanship was starting to cut corners to get jobs completed quicker, and after years of learning how not to cut corners, Mr Williams started to feel frustrated that the homeowners were not getting exactly what they had paid for.

Therefore, Mr Williams, decided to go out on his own in order to be able to provide the homeowner with the quality workmanship that they deserved. Hence Autumn Masonry was formed to insure the highest quality of workmanship available.

Every Homeowner deserves a job completed correctly the first time. A satisfied customer is a customer that would be happy to recommend a company to family and friends! Word of mouth is the best recommendation any Contractor can achieve.

Deal direct with owner, no subcontractors. All jobs custom designed to meet individual needs. Quality workmanship and customer service guaranteed. Fully licensed and insured. LIC #23,648-HI Are you tired of calling contractors, leaving messages and not getting a call back for days, or even worse, not getting a call back at all? Autumn Construction is a family owned business. Should you happen to get a recording upon calling, rest assured that you will get a return call within a couple of hours. Worried who will show up to do the work? The owner of the company, who will be at your house to do your estimate, will also be at your house to do your job along with his crew. Bob is on each and every job working right along with his crew. He feels that when the owner of the company is there daily doing the work with the crew, the job gets down the correct way as it is his company's name that is on that job

As with any skilled trade, there is a right and wrong way to get a job completed.

Things to look for when choosing a contractor:
  1. Make sure the contractor is licensed and insured. Best way to check if you are a Suffolk County Resident is to contact the Suffolk County Dept of Consumer Affairs and provide the contractors license number to find out if they have a clean record or to find out if there are any unanswered complaints against the contractor.
  2. The contractor should explain to you how your job is going to be installed.
  3. Be sure you receive a written contract detailing the aspects of your job and what the contractor is including in his price.
  4. Get several estimates and use your best judgement to compare apples to apples. Be cautious of the guy with the lowest price, as there is a reason his prices are much lower than the rest. As the old saying goes you get what you pay for!
  5. Always ask questions to insure you fully understand how your job is being installed, materials being used so there are no surprises.
